By accessing or using Taboo (the "Game"), operated by Stormio at stormio.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Game.

2. Description of Service

Taboo is a free, browser-based multiplayer word-guessing game. The Game may be played directly in your browser or as a Discord Activity. The Game allows you to create rooms, invite friends, and play in real time.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Game in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:

  • Use offensive, harassing, or inappropriate player names or content
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Game or other players
  • Use the Game for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its design, graphics, and code, is owned by the operator. Word packs and game content may include licensed or user-contributed materials. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Game without permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. Your use of the Game is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

7. Paid Features and Billing

Optional premium features (such as Taboo Plus, premium word packs, and cosmetics) may be offered for purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle's applicable terms and to our Pricing and Refund Policy. Digital entitlements are licensed to your account, not sold as physical goods. We may change pricing or offerings with notice on the pricing page.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
